Even if you overlook the fact that ethanol is still going to cost about as much as gasoline per mile for the sake of being “green”, you might be shocked to learn that it would take a land size 50% larger than the continental US (48 + Alaska) to house the corn required to replace the gasoline that we use, and you won’t be able to eat any of it.
