I installed a hack for WordPress called wp-photos that helps me handle images a little easier. With this thing I can choose a directory on the server where I’ve uploaded a pack of pictures and it’ll gather them and organize them for display in the blog.

I made some significant modifications to the wp-photos code so that it can produce thumbnails automatically, and added some extra links so that it’s easier to navigate within its interface. I may do a little more work to convert it into a WordPress 1.2 plugin, which would be nice since there are so many invasions into the main index.php with the current source. Anyway, there you have it.
