Well, it looks like we didn’t wait quite long enough to get our new phones. This new Handspring (now palmOne) phone/PDA uses PalmOS 5.2.1 on a 144Mhz processor, takes SD cards for expansion, and has a camera built in.http://www.handspring.com/products/communicators/treo600_overview.jhtml
Our assignment for today in C++ class (WCU Edelman CSC141) is to write a program that computes car rental rates.
Basically, an input file contains a list of days rented and miles driven. The program should read each of these pairs of values and compute the cost of the car rental using two plans, A and B. The program should produce output that lists each rental - the days, miles, cost of each plan - then identify the cheaper plan and its cost.
I promised pictures of our pumpkin carving and Halloween costumes, so here they are.
Berta also took a movie with the digital camera of the parade up at Abby's school. You can see a lousy compressed version of it here.
I mean to update the site with a ton of pictures of Halloween, specifically our jack-o-lantern and Abby in her Lion outfit. There is also a movie from her school parade that Berta took. Unfortunately, you'll have to wait for those until they're all prepared. Don't worry, they're coming soon.
In the meantime, let me tell you what I've been up to over the weekend.
