The OneLook Dictionary Search is a good resource if you need to know that word that starts with C that means “dead animal body used as food”.

My work boss has always complained about the necessity for BJ’s to post someone at the exit to “verify” your checkout receipt. He’s right - they don’t compare what you’ve got with what is on the receipt. And it never really bothered me before, but it’s starting to get on my nerves.

Not all the time, but usually, they’ve got some toothless dude standing at the exit with a holepuncher waiting to “verify” that the goods that I’ve purchased are the only ones that I’m walking out with. It’s stupid. They don’t even check. How do I know?

Well, I stopped by the WordPress forums today to see what Podz was talking about regarding the numerous CSS issues that WP users have. That’s when I found this old Exhibit thread.

I haven’t given up on Exhibit - I use it nearly every day. But I have been lax in updating it. There are a few things that don’t work quite right, and not necessarily through any direct fault of mine. There have been a lot of changes in WordPress core code for 1.3, and people are having more issues with the plugins each day.

After watching the first half of SciFi’s The Peacekeeper Wars miniseries, I am reminded how great a show Farscape was, and how stupid problems needlessly ruin a good thing all too often.
