I saw a few movies over the weekend, and I thought I would record my impressions.
Friday night, Berta and I dropped Abby over at Mom’s for the evening. This could be our last weekend alone before Kid Two shows up. Instead of going to the theater where nothing good was playing (that we wouldn’t be able to see with Abby, anyway) we stayed home and watched one of the many DVD movies we’ve bought and haven’t watched because they’re too old for Abby.
So I foolishly volunteered to produce some documentation for installing WordPress on IIS, which basically consists of looking around on the support forums for any questions that have to do with IIS and answering them in a formal way on the WordPress wiki.
Of course, one of the big questions is, “How do I install this on Windows?”
As it turns out, the guy who came into my house on Halloween morning was the guy who lives two doors down from me. Our daughters have played together.
I wonder what I might have done differently had I known it was him. I really didn’t recognize him. At the same time, as the district attorney mentioned, he wasn’t ever in my house, nor was he invited.

The constable called this afternoon and wants to drop off a subpoena for me to appear in court on Monday. He’s going to leave it in the mailbox.
I’m hoping that this has to do with the break-in, and not some trumped-up racketeering charge against me. Not that I’m a mobster or anything, mind you. If anyone asks, you tell ’em nothing, get it? Nothing.
