There must be intelligent life down here

Inet Lockdown

Well here I am at work, waiting for the internet to come back online. Apparently there’s some kind of widespread problem with Verizon that is affecting our third-party-supplied T1 line. So the internet is down and none of our phones work, not even the ones that usually run when our PBX goes down.

Fortunately, I’m one of the most wired (er, wireless) people in my office, so I get to share my plight with you. This is assuming that your internet connection isn’t dead, too. And since all of the work-work I’m doing exists only on a server outside of this building, I really have only this to do until the net is back up.

Legend of the Green Dragon

You guys should come play Legend of the Green Dragon with me. My character’s name is Reorx. We can slay things in the forest and make big names for ourselves by leaving corpses of things in our wake. It’s an all-click all-web game that requires no reflexes whatsoever, so you’re sure to do just fine no matter your skill level at this sort of thing.

If you’re lucky, I won’t stab you to death while you’re character is asleep. At the rate I’m progressing, though, you’re likely to wake up in the middle and spit on me, to my death.

And the show goes on

I was somewhat underprepared for last night's acting class. I spent a good deal of time memorizing the longer sections of my part, and didn't spend too much time memorizing the smaller lines. So when it came time to speak the short stuff, I messed those up more often. And then messing those up made me less confident about the longer sections, and then I totally blanked.

Ah, well. I'm much better now.
