Just to give you a little idea of what things look like around here at Asymptomatic Headquarters, I filmed this video with an overview of the equipment that I’m using to produce the blog entries and the audio (there is audio coming, I promise!) that is going live today.
The sound is a little funky because I forgot to turn off the ceiling fan, and it’s blowing across the camera’s microphone. All these computers (there are others in the room that are not in this movie!) generate a surprisingly terrible heat without some air circulation.
Thanks, Berta, for retrieving the missing mysterywire from Radio Shack. I should probably have like 30 of these on hand, but for some reason, since I need one desperately, not so much.
